Local shopkeeper Gordon Koenig of Gordreaux’s Clothing and Beth Baker will be hosting an adult-only Prom on July 10th. That’s right, people over 21 can get dressed up in formal wear and dance to the big-band sounds of OrcaTrazz while Beth sings along.

The event is a fundraiser for Beth’s ex-husband John, who is fighting cancer at Swedish Hospital. Tickets are $20 and include one drink and dessert. Pick yours up at Gordeaux’s Clothing, Darvill’s Bookstore, Ace Hardware, Ray’s Pharmacy, and Orcas Village Store.

In addition to the corsages, and prom photos, there will be a silent auction. They’re still seeking donations for the auction, you can call Koenig at 376-4673 to donate.
